Just a little thought I had today. I guess my mind is cleared up and my mood is definitely better. Felt damn crappy since Saturday cause of the workload I'm facing, meetings and all. I feel like I cannot handle everything. Felt like running away from reality but there was nothing I could do except throwing tantrums to express how I really felt. It peaked on Monday, but I guess after the meetings and presentations by Tues I'm a lot calmer. Just that the lack of sleep made me sarcastic, which is really rare. I hardly shoot people down unless I'm really tired and just feel like making people shut up LOL.

But yay, pampered myself to make myself better. New watch and dresses (ooops) on Sunday and my fave eggtarts on Monday after IT meeting! :D And facial masks in hall to cover up my poor skin condition mehhhhhh. :/

Anyway I've got KPMG Tax interview yay. I think I'm really lucky cause many people didn't get any. So I should stop complaining that only ONE contacted me. Be thankful that I got one instead!

Mehhh, time to study for midterms. Cannot screw up acc3 :(

Short update!! :)
Saturday, 15 February 2014

Well I'm already into the 2nd month of 2014, and yes soooo many things have happened! Just a brief update yayyyy!

Anyway just saying eh, I've not been following my resolutions set heh. My study plan has obviously failed HAHA - I'm lagging in IT and abit in tax! And oh dear acct 3 is killing my brain cells though I did my preparations beforehand :( comm fund 2 is taxing but ok I'm working with liz and Aaron! :) Met a swedish groupmate, Per! He's nice, always saying that I did a good job though I didn't do that much work! Mehhh but anyways, at this rate I'll drop my second upper alr! But okay I can't blame anyone eh. Not very used to quiet environment in hall. I'll change my habits sooooon!!! Midterms in 2 weeks, letz hope I can make it!!

Oh yes speaking of hall, meet my roommate Michelle!! (no photos yet HAHAHA) A really nice roommate to talk to, and I hope she doesn't get stressed up by her grades!! I found someone who sleeps alot later than me! Hahaha and she says I'm alw so cheerful though I'm like stressed with work at times! Seems like my plan to smile more did work afterall!

Moving on! I've met my jc friends on my first day of school! Met up with some r6 friends in NTU too! And also did some shopping with weishan on cny eve. Other than that I'm too busy to meet people mehhhh or they're just weekly meetups like Laksa Tuesdays with Weishan, Kary, Lee and Huiting! Oror weekly jogs with them too LOL. #healthydebs back in hall!!!!

CNY was fun too!! Having a Polaroid is awesome cause I can collect these pictures instantly! :') took family photos too hehe! The only thing is that I didn't catch up that much this year, busy gambling oooops :X but yeah life's good during cny YAY :D never got pestered about bf/studies!!

Last good news is for weishan!! Super happy for you that you got to go Maastritch  and also ahemmmm! My intuition is right hehe!! :D well I think I still prefer how my life is right now. Sometimes I still hold on to some hopes but well, things will come when the time is right! :)

Speaking of exchange, the sad news is that I didnt get Strathclyde in the first round, but I'm trying again. If not TAIWAN HERE I COME :) Hahaha it'll be damn cool if I can go Europe yeah :) can meet shubin and my parents can get the chance to visit me!!
Oh yes, I didn't get any email from deloitte while most of my friends already did. Bye big 4 :(

Lastlastlast news, FULL ATTENDANCE TODAY FOR NASCHOIRKIDS TODAY YAY!! Good time catching up!!! And so jelly that liangdeng and germ are going hk!!! I missed my eggtarts!

ONE MORE WEEEEEEEK... to reality. I cannot say that I'm prepared or whatnot, I'm definitely still in my holiday mood~
Well anyway welcome 2014! :) 2013 has been a year of ups and downs even till the very last day, but well, I guessed overall it had still been a good year :)

Embraced the start of the new year in HK; though we didn't get to watch 'shooting stars' and fireworks at Tsim Sha Tsui, but well at least it was a good time catching up on life with chips, alcohol and.... seaweed (HAHAHA) till 5 am hehehe. Cannot emphasize (again) how grateful I am to have these bunch of friends in NTU :) I'm not an easy person to read, and definitely not an easy person to be close with. Insecurities often come to my mind often when I decide whether to open up or not, and how things will change after some . But well I guess I did manage to open up a little back in HK! Enjoyed myself since I got to eat, play and shop well hehe! Being back in HK also bought back many memories from the past with NASchoir toooooo~ Not going to elaborate on it but heh I missed meeting them!
& I'm contemplating whether to keep a written journal of my HK trip again! I did that once back in 2008, and well it'd be nice to write again and compare how different things have become. But then again.... I got no timee! Argh if only I had all the time to myself to sit and think back exactly how the past year have been :)

Did a bit of reflection after my HK trip, and yes that sort of planned out my resolutions in 2014! It's not as detailed as before, but I guess it's always good to have some sort of goal (no matter how insignificant it is) and some values to hold on to bring me through 2014. As every year passes, things will only get harder so yes it's good to make improvements too :)

1. Loved ones (family and friends) to be safe and healthy.
I cannot emphasize how much health is of high importance as we age. We get more prone to illnesses, and with new viruses spreading around the world, the chances of falling sick have definitely increased :/
So yup, I hope everyone around me stays healthy. Nobody likes to be sick and feel useless at any point in time!

2. To always strive to be a better person.
Things and people around you are always changing, and yes I finally realised that it's sometimes good for some sort of change for the better. Over the years I learnt that stubbornness lead to unhappiness to all parties, and sometimes, small changes such as compromising can see better results. Change (for the better) is essential to grow up as a better and mature person. This applies to studies too; seeking for alternatives and changing your ways of studying may lead to better results. Though we cannot always be changing to suit everyone's needs, changing for the better for loved ones is already more than enough :)

3. Don't lose faith and sight of what you seek to achieve in the long term because of the setbacks that you faced recently/ Look on the positive side of everything.
I guess this was something that I learnt over the past few years. Crying over spilt milk doesn't restore the milk to its original position. This is soooo applicable when it comes to setbacks such as failing to do well in xxx. I mean everything has already been fixed, and you have two ways to look at it. Firstly, either you cry/throw tantrums over what cannot be changed and forget about your goal, OR, learn from these mistakes and strive to make improvements in the near future to achieve your final goal.

4. SMILE MORE, even when you are not exactly that happy.
It helps to spread the joy and brightens the atmosphere! Laughter is a greater medicine, and such actions are pretty contagious like how yawns are. I mean when friends are down, you try to cheer them up right? Yes, you do feel sad with them and cry a little since you empathise with them, but we cannot be sad forever..... SO why not smile and make them smile too! :) It brightens up everyone's day and help to get over unhappy issues quickly.

5. Try to understand people more, but don't be overly sensitive.
I guess this is just my personal problem. I like to analyze what people are thinking given their responses for what I said/did. Sometimes it's good, when you know you left a good impression. However, it is not the same when you believe that they are hurt/upset by what I did unintentionally. Ah well, let me try to focus on my studies now instead of doing such things :(

6. Stop adding additional (unnecessary) stress to myself.
I guessed I mentioned it often, but yes, I need to stop crying/pulling my hair and do stupid stuff when I'm extremely stressed up. I really need to start saying "yes I can do this, let me try a while longer before I skip this" OR "hmmm I guess I should ask xxxx how to go about doing this" instead of "ARGH I cannot do this at all omggggg and there are still so many things left undoneeee T_T"

7. Better time management.
Nuff said. Hahah less TV time debbbbbzzzzzz!

8. Lose weight.
HAHAHAHA whatever happened to my plan last year mannn. Time to run again!! Well at least, I just want to be how I was last year. NO NEED to lose that much weight LOL.

9. Communicate better with people!
No harm making more friends and slowly opening up right? :)

-----
Well time to wash the toilet, HAHAHA.

Shall start doing the assignment and finish it tomorrow. Last few days of holidays are going to be really packed! And yes, I will start to get into the mood for school :) And speaking of which I need to move more things to hall again. Not enough clothes + no pillows + no bedsheets. HAHAHA good job debs x.x

Lastly..... Study plan this year? Prepare - Understand in class - Revise. Need to stick to this mannnn!

Here's the song for the dayyyyy! Was watching my shows and live performances when I came across to this song! The lyrics are :))) First snow by EXO is also nice too! The live performance is here! HAHAHAHA Chanyeol's derp face!

So Screwed Up :(
Friday, 27 December 2013

Results are out today and I wished I'd never checked them at all. Like seriously I just feel like shit and disappointed and maybe angry at myself blehhh. I know where I roughly stood but both my sem 1 grades for the 2 years are equally crappy; I only have 2 different (cuiiii) grades for this sem :( I'm so glad that I passed my company law though, no more C and its even better than my stats :S But still looking at the GPA for the current semester only tells me that IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP AND BUCK UP!! Hopefully the hall stay in Sem 2 will help. Definitely less TV and unnecessary dozing off in-between. Accounting 2 made me realised that projects and midterms are really really important too, esp if you get such an easy paper for finals. Shall not say that the final lap can make a huge difference; time to be consistent peopleeee.

Enough ranting for my results. Probably will brood over it for a while, but shall think of it this way; at least my CGPA is not too bad, but there's still many rooms for improvements to make it even better. Probably need to pull it up a bit more so that I feel safe..

Loooooong day ahead. 3-4 hours of tuition followed by overnight Saboteur. HK in 3 days' time and yes I'll start 2014 well and be more studious kkkkkk GO DEBZ!

Hello, and goodbye.
Saturday, 14 December 2013

Hehehe blogging from my phone that had been a great companion thus farrrr :)) I'm soooooo glad to say, I'VE SURVIVED YEAR 2 SEM 1!!! *waves pom pom*

Honestly this semester wasn't as smooth sailing, primarily because of all the getting used to..
1) waking up at 6am for 8.30am lessons
2) surviving super long hours with consecutive lessons and falling asleep on the way home
3) controlling my temper when I couldn't handle stress and such

Also getting used to work with other people. Sometimes it's just a little ironic that we all have the same timetable but never got to work together at all :/ hopefully this wouldn't happen again hehhh. It's...... Risky yknow. I'm glad my groupmates this sem are pretty nice but I can't say the same for the following sem :/

Anyway post exams were great :) got to shop with my parents after a loooooong time hehhhhh :)) and also catching up on sleep and my shows! Hehehe wanted to.post my lovely 1-day curls but well...  Next time then!

STAR wars today and yay I managed to get my mods! :) hopefully next sem will be better :( 4 cores 1 elective LET'S GO! Need to survive all this shit!

And I've got a hall for sem 2!!! Thought about it for quite some time!! Had to factor in....
Whether I really need it, cause afterall, I'm sort of used to traveling for the past sem, and...
Cost. I got the non aircon hall so it's less expensive but it's still a financial burden sigh. Times when I wish money actually falls from the skyyyyy.
It's not Hall 2 afterall. I'm not good with socializing and so... Unfamiliar with the surroundings and people. :/
My roomie is not someone I know. I'm just glad she's a freshie from NBS :)

But yeah I took it anyways. If it can pull my grades up and save the travelling time.... I guess it's not too bad :)

Shall watch running man. Need to enjoy my last holiday while I can!!!

Have a good holiday everyone :)

One Month+ Left!
Friday, 25 October 2013

To mug till finals, sleepless nights, horrible eye bags... Most importantly, TO ANTICIPATE HOLIDAYS. Really looking forward to it, seems like I may get to enjoy it this time. Well I hope everything turns out well! Mummy's suggesting a trip to Korea and it's kinda plausible since Shaun will have a 2-week break in Dec and it's my holidays without those commitments! Well in the past I had piano and violin commitments, when I stopped both in JC, I had part-time work during the holidays and there was softball and bridge IHG one year ago. Idk but I really feel good not having so many commitments during the holidays cause it seemed that I never took a break in my 19 years..
Not to forget, we may be visiting Bev and MZ in Hong Kong! :) I hope none of these gets ruined because I really don't think I'll ever get to rnjoy my youth like that after I graduate.

Anw I'm halfway through the horrible 2 weeks!
Environmental quiz and Acct 2 midterms on the same day is no joke mannnz! But I'm glad it's over!! :) Y'know it's hard to strike a balance because both have significant weightage on my overall GPA :( And the first LWP quiz was too crappy that I cannot totally neglect the second one though my tutor said it would be easy (and it wasn't as easy as expected). As for acct 2, I'm just soo glad that I balanced and finished the paper though I crapped the last part cause I totally skipped revision for THAT particular section. But I know I made some mistakes (And yes I'm regretting for not following my instincts) but I'm just glad that I realised them right aft the quiz so it didn't bothered me too much! :)

I'm also sort of done with my part on Management meeting hehhh :)

Now it's just Korean!! Sigh assignment is due on Monday and I've yet to start! And quiz on Thurs right after MM :( And concert at night so I need to rush the report before the concert sighhhhh please let me survive this and get back on track!!!!

here's a really good listen :)

The Master's Sun
Friday, 4 October 2013

Teehee this is the current drama that I'm watching, and Idk if it's a good or bad thing cause I literally spent my hols reading up on parts of the recaps just in case I don't have time from next week onwards and watched a few episodes ahead of ONE. Sigh my TV radar is on again and it's super hard to stop cuz' I'm also following A Change Of Heart for now. Howwwwwwz.

Anw back to this show! Hehehe okay I'm really lovin' the Wed-Thurs timeslot cause this was after another favourite show of mine, I Hear Your Voice. It's has some horror elements but it's also funny and there's romance involved (well shows these days need to have this element ehhh) But I'm really liking the storyline, partly cause I like horror shows, and their romance isn't those.... super clingy and touchy kinds y'know. And I liked the fact that I actually felt sad for the leads at times and go frustrated when things don't go their way. Hehehe it's nice to see Seo In-Guk again! (loved him for his awesome character portrayal in Reply 1997) and Gong Hyo-jin is acting alongside with really good-looking & experienced actors again! *envious* Hong Sisters have definitely written a really good plot following The Greatest Love!

It officially aired its final episode yesterday! I'm currently on the 13th episode but I shan't watch too much cause I definitely had neglected my own studies after focusing on my accounting project and these. I barely started my Company Law assignment and not to say that my backlog is staring at me asking me to faster finish and get them filed up. Sigh with each semester getting worse, I guess I should really buck up mannz. Looked at the midterms solutions and concluded that I failed horribly, but I don't feel bad yet because everyone said it was hard. But then again, I wouldn't want to come to a point where my grades are reflected badly and I go crying or whatnot. Been constantly reminded that grades are important in this society :/

Hokay I shall stop watching soon and start doing some work cause next week is hell. Like really. Tuition on Mon and Thurs to prepare my student for her FYE. And they're on my long days. Shan't grumble because I offered these days first knowing that the papers are on the following days. But that being said, I have to read up everything in advance because I will fall asleep whenever I'm at home between 10pm-1am.

Anw I'm glad that I'm FINALLY meeting Rachelle too!! My confidante in Sec 2 :)) Need to claim $10x6 worth of money for winning my 'bet' hahaha kiddingz. Planned to meet up with Sheryl & Yingting soon alsooooo :)

Have a good day everyoneeee!

Choice.
Tuesday, 1 October 2013

We all know the facts, but whether we choose to believe and accept it or not is another matter.

Call me sensitive, I'm not good at accepting all these; I need time and maybe a lot more than expected. Guess that's what happens when you are being OVERLY concerned in some matters. Looking through old photos make me miss catching up with people too, but Idk how I should even go about taking the first steps. Sigh I think being an extreme introvert does more harm than good as you shut out from everything you want to avoid :(

Argh Debz you should just stop thinking so much and continue living in ignorance.

I hate everything that is going on right mow. I am definitely not one who can manage stress, so yes this is the horrible period of having midterms and reports due in a week. And I'm definitely not coping well. (It's obvious at the rate I'm getting clothes; yes I do shop to relieve stress. Not a good idea but I can't open up to people and it's really frustrating to keep it bottled)

Literally spent the whole Friday on the sofa curling myself up into a ballz cause of cramps. And it's sooooo bad that I had to cancel tuition at the very last minute and just SLEEP. And the more I sleep the more guilty I felt for not doing anything and I'll panic like crap at such hours, like NOW. :( I really dk what my priorities are now... Anw I finally understood what my massager (is there even such a word?) told me about my health condition ATM. :/

I shall hope that I can stay awake in the train to read those Korean alphabets and greetings and whatnot. I enjoy the learning process but not the examinations. Or rather, I just don't like to be tested on what I'm learning. Just makes me feel really dumb amongst everyone else.

As for the report, let's hope I can at least fill up two points before I sleep if not I'll be all cranky and angst when my mum talks to me. I'd feel really bad but I can't control these ahhh.

AND MY BROTHER IS LAUGHING HIS HEAD OFF WHILE WATCHING RUNNING MAN. I ALSO WANT EH :(

Stop being sensitive,
Sunday, 15 September 2013

Argh totally hates it when I try to probe about something or think too much over something that may be insignificant. Sigh totally hate this feeling cause sometimes you would just feel that you're left all alone - Nobody gives a shit about what you're fretting over.

I wonder if there's any way I could get rid of all these thoughts and uncertainties ever. Yknow it affects moods easily and short term remedies won't work out for longgggggg.

On a side note, I totally hate it when people say: It's not that I don't want to ask, but if I ask you would have said no anyway. Arghhhh is it just SO hard to ask people sometimes; there's a huge difference with asking and getting a 'No' reply and not even asking at all. Well, at least if you asked, people would have thought that you'd care for the person as a friend; Not askingis equivalent to not giving a shit at all. But then again, there'll always be people who ask for the sake of asking only :/

Sigh sometimes the littlest things are those that sieves out your true friends :(((

Argh shan't think about it,  time to do projectttttttttttttttttttt
