Lost days, pictures fade.
4 - TAIPEI (20 - 24/11/2014) Day 2 (I)
Wednesday, 17 June 2015

(Have to credit some of the blogs (1 & 2) I stumbled upon while trying to figure out the exact places that we went to!)

This is probably the day when we took the most pictures around scenic areas! And also the day when I don't really remember where we went; actually we all didn't really know I think; just walk only :D But the names of the places can be easily googled cause I'm smart woohoo.

As usual the difficult part is always to piece pictures from different sources (facebook and phone) such that it paints the full picture. And it's not easy cause facebook now separates the albums by contributors whyyyyy! Made my life 1000000x harder omg.

DAY 2: 十分老街 / 四廣潭吊橋 /  觀瀑吊橋 / 眼鏡洞瀑布  -> 南雅奇石 / 陰陽海 /  十三層遺址 / 黃金瀑布/ 九份老街 /  西門町

View before we slept the night before :D

Starting Day 2 by saying that I lost my bet - one room cleaning service T.T Woke up quite early cause I'm a light sleeper again :P And yessss normally once I fall asleep I would never ever wake up in the middle of the night to head towards the toilet or sneeze / cough randomly unless I was so sick that I didn't sleep well. So once I start coughing early in the morning it means I'm already awake~

And I knew I lost the bet when I saw le housemate waking up before his alarm rang and it was still quite dark before sunrise! (I just pretended I didn't know anything mehhhh) But the view from our beds are simply awesome, took a shot when it was brighter!! Cannot see sunrise though :( I think I took this from a distance - where I was sleeping at! Can tell that we had huge windows around us :P

Good morning!! ^^

Woke up and packed our stuff before heading out of our room for breakfast! The view everywhere is just so green and pretty~

The minsu owner prepared breakfast for us, super thankful! :)

Decided to head out of the minsu and take a look around the area (it's quite ulu but there are nice scenery everywhere!) and Bryan was attempting donut selfies for damn long, but I guess it kinda failed except for one or two :P

It's so pretty and tranquil everywhere :D

We-fie! :)

Super nice paranomaaaa

So busy taking pictures of the scenery around us and also more we-fies :D Hahaha smart roomie could tell I was going to take photos... and slowly more people got into the camera!

Headed back to our minsu to get our stuff and head back to Shifen station! It's a really nice place to stay in! It's like those mini mansion with a lot of rooms, and away from the bustling areas.

I wonder if the scrambled eggs came from them :P

Roselle flower!! :D
Had a good night's rest and spent some time appreciating the views around, thank you 良哥! (That was how we addressed him when we contacted him from my phone)

Back at Shifen Old Street (that was near the station) - this time around there were more people shopping and releasing sky lanterns. thankfully there weren't so many people last night (actually we were the only ones there HAHA) so no photobombs and we got nice pictures :D

Walking along the railway tracks~

Did some shopping along the streets and got some souvenirs and a pair of new navy sneakers! :D Hardly buy sneakers or covered shoes cause I prefer slippers/sandals since it's forever so warm in Singapore so I guess it's a good change?

And so we kept walking till we got out of the old streets! Saw pretty scenery along the way again :) Wanted to look for the Shifen Waterfall (十分瀑布) but it was stated to be under construction; when we went to the visitor center we got directed elsewhere.

Came across this bridge instead, which was near the visitor center. It's called 四廣潭吊橋! But I've got no idea what's on the other end cause I didn't walk all the way. Still it's so pretty :D

As usual, we have our usual group photos whenever we visit somewhere different :D

Roomie! :D
Nonetheless we still try to look for the Shifen Waterfall and we kinda found the route there cause we saw the sign that says 十分瀑布! Saw some food stalls / cafe  before we got there so we ordered some food and left our baggage while our food was being prepared! (Not sure safe or not but beats carrying it around though :P)

Decided to follow the railway tracks~

Acting touristy again!
And so we kept walking till we saw another suspension bridge, 觀瀑吊橋 which meant we were near the Shifen waterfall area, as stated by other travelers who have been there.

First mini waterfall that we spot along the way!! Nope it's not the one we were looking for but it's called Glasses Hole Waterfall (眼鏡洞瀑布)

More we-fies while on the suspension bridge!

And more photos at the end of the bridge!

Spot meeeee!
This was actually quite nice leh, got the feel!

Got some tourists to help us take a group photo! But it was so hard for me to be seated up there; short legs sighhhh :(

Headed back to the cafe where we ordered some food and I got ice-cream from a stall nearby! Here's an unglam photo but ice cream makes me happy :D

Never got to see the waterfall but this is how it should have looked like, SUPER PRETTY!! Can we try to find this place again if we ever head back to Shifen in the future?? :(

Ending it here cause it's quite photo heavy and I need my sleep hehe.

4 - TAIPEI (20 - 24/11/2014)
Monday, 15 June 2015

Third #weekendtravelingggg post; really not sure if I can finish this before I head towards Taipei next Monday, but I hope I can!! Thankfully there was a rough itinerary that I found while sorting out my Drive (Hahaha super thankful for this; it's like my mini brain / summary / cheatsheet!!!) Hopefully it helps; I kinda remembered the day when we didn't follow it!

Personally one of my more memorable trips, probably cause we spent more days exploring :) Second last trip when all of us actually traveled together.

DAY 1: 十分老街 / 良辰美瑾民宿

Left for Taipei in the afternoon after Bryan's morning class (It's our free day yay!). Still remembered I was doing the Risk Management mid-term assignment before heading out; and was damn rush cause I couldn't find a place to print my article. (Had to trouble 邱先生 and his daughter at Hi-life to help out until we realised actually the machine was actually faulty) Weishan and Chongkai left first to get HSR tickets for Xinshe; left with Bryan slightly later to grab a quick bite before heading to Zuoying station. Think I damn cui; kept thinking I forgot to lock our room doors / clear rubbish / etc while otw there. (happens all the time back here as well; always ended up climbing out of bed after lights are out cause I keep forgetting whether I switched off everything)

First time taking HSR!! (After learning our lessons never to 包車, cannot imagine how much we'll spend if we did that *inserts shocked emoticon*) Quite a long ride there, about 5 hours from one end of Taiwan to the other; had a good sleep there though I wanted to do work at first. But who will study when they are travelling hehehe.

We-fie when we arrived at Taipei HSR! Super thankful to have housemates who kinda know their way around - it was so crowded that I really couldn't think oops. Went to have dinner and get milk tea before heading towards Shifen station! Quite funny though, we couldn't really hear what was being announced over the speakers in the train. When the driver / attendant walked past our cabin we had to ask how many stops more, thankfully we were told how many stops more before we have to alight,

Arrived at Shifen! :)

And we met a cat that' apparently enjoying life in the chilly (rainy) weather

Went to Shifen Old Street (十分老街) to release sky lanterns, aka 放天燈. It's like a must to do that when we are there, even though it's late and raining and cold~ Took turns to write on the lantern :) But I think my Chinese proverbs are super limited, can't really think of what to write for our side... And I guess le housemate wasn't that proficient too cause ours looked so empty compared to wsck's one HAHAHA. Presenting to our half completed sky lantern!

This should be for safety!

I suppose this is for career!

After taking photos for the first half... Of course we have to finish writing on the other sides!

Le housemates working (thinking and writing) hard :P

This is for happiness :D

Wealth!! $.$
Can see the huge difference in the way we utilised the space right :$ Probably the second time releasing sky lanterns; did that with Weishan once back in Bintan during hall overseas trip! But it's not the sameeeee, that time we only wrote our wishes on red lanterns!

Went to the railway tracks to capture a few more photos in the rain! (Used my phone cause it was waterproof; but actually I think all their phones also can use to take though~)

The shop owners lighted the lantern.. and we get one last photo with it!

And of course releasing it! :) Hehehe this is my 2nd favourite group picture from our weekend travels!

Slowly moving up into the sky~ (and braving the rain)

Hehehe thankfully we didn't see it fall or something; so yayyyyy! May our wishes do come true though ^^

The minsu owner fetched us to our accommodation at 良辰美瑾民宿 cause it wasn't very accessible and it was quite late already! But the rain was no joke though, our feet were kinda soaked when we finally got there. But it's a pretty place though it was dark!

Our comfy minsu for the night! The bed looks a little small for the guys hahaha. Didn't take phtotos of the scenery outside cause it was dark but it's so cool we have huge windows that allows us to look at the pretty scenery outside in the day (one of the reasons why we chose this minsu - saw the pretty view in the previews.. it's supposed to 面山)

We got served with some biscuits and Roselle tea - super sweet but it's fragrant! :)

Spent the night indoors cause it was raining and cold~~ Just watched the TV hahaha they were showing some exercise routine but it was quite funny :P And the blankets were so awesome for the chilly weather ^^ Just nua-ed on the bed watching shows before we all decided we should email our biz val prof that we are taking leave from classes out of respect. (Super interesting though; would have never done that in Singapore hahaha) But then horrrrr. I emailed saying we are taking leave but never say who apparently LOL. Cause the prof did mention our absence in class HAHA.

And once again... I made a bet with le housemate Bryan to see if he can wake up early oops. Not sure if it was a good idea to blehhhhh.

How do you multiply an apple?!

1/2 x 1/2 / 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 - 1/2 =?

Watching 2D1N at this ungodly hour but it's so funny watching them solve math questions! Like one team with the SNU students with the calculus questions and the cast with easy math questions (which they still can't solve LOLOL)

But the explanation for the question was damn funny! You take an apple, cut into half.... Then multiply the apple into two. BUT HOW DO YOU MULTIPLY AN APPLE?! The person gave up explaining after that Hahaha.

But anyway today was spent at Bugis; wanted to hike but it rained in the morning, wanted to cycle but Lucia can't cycle so ended up with shopping. Actually it's just to accompany her out la, I guess it's better that I tag her than leave her out aloneeee.

But yeah lo, everything was well till she needed her camwhore time which took.... ONE HOUR. Omg first time feeling so frustrated that idk to cry or not! But okay thankfully I wasn't in a horrible mood if not!!!!!

And she probably got quite scared of my lead cause I'm forever lost. Lost in bugis street once when we tried to look for the store that I bought my romper from cause I néeded to change - I can't wear rompers cause my body is long omg. First and last romper bought and exchanged for a dress.. That's too short but so long it's not for work I'm okay! Second time was when I tried to find Blogshopping that shop in Bugis Junction. Thought it was at L2 but couldn't find it; went to L1 only to realise it's at L3 oops.

Well at least I know the link to Bugis+ was at L2! Was just back there on Tuesdayyyy.

But well Sunday just gone like that; and I've yet to start on my Taipei post omgggg. Still cannot get my timeline right helpz!! I think we had a rough itinerary but we didn't really follow it cause we had a taiwanese friend with us so he planned one full day for us. I remember taking photos but they are goneeeeee. Like not in my laptop why!! Hopefully it'll be done before I fly please! Plus Idk when I'll ever get to blog about Korea.. Or should I just intercept my tw exchange posts and do my grad trip posts first though I'm not done transferring photos. Been blogging using phone so yeah no photo transfer done :(

Last week of my break before going tw and starting work!!! Shall make good use of time to meet up, super packed already! Speaking of which Weishan was saying that she felt sad that her uni clique kinda dispersed already after exchange :/

But nooooo yall still can meet up and catch up oneeeee. Still got our double black to clear so just plan a day to meet up in July to clear that bottle and catch up / make up / talk / eat / drink / etc (actually they never quarreled so no need make up laaaa) Ask Ben along too! like what Kary said, I also don't like broken relationships so I hope they do become close again like before! :) (Can go ahead without me cause technically they studied tgt for at least 2 years without me, if not for exchange!)

And July cause Weishan says Bryan probably needs that 2 week quarantine hahaha. Actually if they all dm can ask him over to join us for the Saboteur Championship and chalet. Hahaha but not sure if it'll be awkward cause all those who are going are probably those who went to Kary's 21st last year. Like they also know Germ cause I brought him along last year as my temporary +1 since all three of us knew him but he wasn't officially invited cause he's not in any of Kary's cliques lolol. (And Huiting ended up finding her long lost brother when he was a bit tipsy HAHA) But can't wait for this, shall let Weishan organise!! :)

Oh yeah we kinda talked about the craziness level thing again - 8/10 HAHAHA INSIDE JOKE. But oh wells, we all shall see when the time is right :P

1am TC sessions
Saturday, 13 June 2015

TGIF everyoneeeee! Guess my day was well spent sleeping; guess I'm really sick this time round :( Like I'm feeling cold when everyone else isn't.

But strangely.. My appetite kinda doubled. Maybe cause I'm too cold so I'm always craving for warm food!! 燒仙草 or Ginseng Chicken soup would be awesome nowwww.

Yeah so it's just me and my phone for the whole day, just surfing social media and talking to people or sleeping most of the time! Ohhh and watching sea games to support water polo! :)

Yeaps was talking to Kary at night and somehow we always end up having long conversations over Whatsapp! From talking about her getting new heels to the topic on tact to slightly more sensitive issues and also trips!! Like she's a lil envious that people around her are seeing the world while she hasn't gotten the chance to go exchange and all. But well like what I said not all trips are as good as they seem haha. As much as people want to show others what they are seeing they are also hiding a thousand others.

It's similar to how unofficial couples would post stuff of their happy moments but never post photos of them being so close to avoid talk.

[Loving analogies lately; still remember the one about 長痛不如短痛 (Haha I cannot disclose the exact words cause of the topic so a proverb to explain the issue) - it's like you like someone else already but you're not daring enough to say it to your current girlf cause you believe you'll separate after a few years. And that's like adding a few years of misery to yourself.]

People wouldn't want to wash their dirty linen in public, you see. So don't feel so bad about it, you'll get your chance soon!! :) It's not a bad thing that you're not travelling yet! Haha guess she kinda felt this way after seeing Weishan and Chelsea talk about their Europe trips.

LOL. Somehow we're back to this again. Guess she really cannot get over this. And maybe it wasn't too good an idea to tell her about this then, now she probably remembers this for life when even I already moved on. Like I don't harp on it cause it's over, and they still did look after me maaaa.

I hope this wouldn't affect their friendship k!! It was just my random rant and she just happened to be the one I felt most comfortable to share my thoughts with. Like if I told bev she probably wouldn't understand how I really felt as compared to Kary.

Hahah I kinda like my reply LOL. But it's true la, some things.. They're just a matter of perspective lo. When I see it this way, I feel less 冤枉 :P

But if all goes well, we'll really get to go Korea in 2 years' time!! It's a promise :) And if it's possible, we can go Japan 3 years later haha. That's if I can find someone to go with me by then cause I'll be going with YK x Kary!! Like I didn't go Japan this time round partly cause I want to save it for special people! Like different trips for different people, creating different memories together! :) so yeah, she (and hopefully my future +1) can be the honoured Japan traveling partners! LG also told me Japan would be awesome so I rly want to go there someday!

Okay for now it's back to my book and more rest!

SEA GAMES 2015 / DINNER W RAE
Thursday, 11 June 2015

Shall post everything that happened for the past 2 days here before starting on my Taipei post! 4-5 days omg I don't think I remembered everything already :( And the photos aren't helping much cause they don't exactly matched what I remembered thus far... And I think I deleted photos that I took for one particular day by accident or by impulse noooo. Shall ask Weishan to send me the photos if possible! Hopefully she captured those moments that I deleted. Kinda remembered she still had the Taipei photos; she only lost the Hualien/Taitung ones :(

10/6/2015 - Date w Lynn / SEA GAMES 2015

Went to send Bryan and Rachel off in the morning! But was late omg; there was so much delay such that instead of reaching at the time I planned I ended up reaching there just in time to send them into the departure hall oops. Safe trip okay; spam hand sanitizer, take Vitamin C/lozenges/whatever just don't fall sick in Korea! And have fun for 16 days hehehe :P

Went to meet Lynn after that for the SEA Games Sports Carnival! Anna was vomiting badly so she couldn't join us. Settled my lunch while waiting for her!

But sadly the carnival seemed to be more suitable for kids omg. Thought it's some large scale event but nooooo. And to think we thought we would spend one whole day playing!! Okay la at least got free Milo from the Milo vans along the way.

So... we decided to get tickets to watch some SEA Games matches instead! Just nice Zhekang and Eunice are playing for water polo that day so we went to show some support!! Damn spontaneous :P Lynn had this theory that "because we are Singaporeans so should be free hor?" HAHAHA no way man, but we bought tickets nonetheless. But we were rushing for the match cause it was bought last minute and we wanted to get food and drinks since we can sit in for two matches (Singapore VS Indonesia and Malaysia VS Philippines). And the Aquatic Center was soooo far omg 70% melted while walking under the sun! (We didn't know we could walk through the malls) Lucky we didn't miss much!!

Singapore won 7-4!!! Goodjob ladies!! And Eunice was damn good as a goal keeper; she managed to block out a few shots attempted by the opponents! Zhekang did well too!!

Short break after their match; and we got to take photos with Nila the mascot!! And headed out to get some chilled drinks; Fruit juice ftwwww (though it was quite expensive) And again we had to rush back to catch the second match.

Went to queue for registration for the hot air balloon ride - the lady told us if weather conditions allow they would fly at around 5! And we're not very lucky cause we ended up being on the waiting list - so even if they do have the hot air balloon ride we are not guaranteed a slot! So we went to chill at the foodcourt cause it was too hot outside. It's been awhile since the two of us had our usual talk so yayyy :) But please stop selling me away, and to ZT of all people. "Cause you two are single and are my friends ma" LOL what logic is this; doesn't work that way! But speaking of ZT we suddenly thought that we should ask him to join us also for our group reunion after our last laser tag game :D

Had vegetarian dinner at Clover 8! Not cheap but the food is good! We had braised shark fin, green curry rice, curry chicken noodle (with bean filling), cheese balls and mango sago! Haha I think we have huge appetites :S And tried calling the person to check about the hot air balloon ride - sadly they weren't flying any yesterday~ So in the end we just called ZT who just woke up to see if he was free HAHA. But nah, we'll meet next time okay, before we fly! :)

Went back to the carnival to walk walk see see if there's anything to do, and found a place where people can go date next time! Super pretty placeeee and has the Ai He feel. Like kind of remembered the times I went to run with Hanying, Cheowlin and Peizhen (should meet them soon also; realized I haven't seen PZ since Jan!) & also the times when we cycled there to Carrefour with housemates! :D So excited I wanna go cycle again soon!!! :) :)

Singapore's night landscapes are always so pretty :) And feels so peaceful there also!

Decided to try our luck at Ninebot (we queued once in the afternoon but it was soooo hot so we gave up queuing then) and yayyyy we were the last two in the queue! :) It's quite fun, and I like the logic behind how it works, like the greater you displace yourself from the fulcrum the faster you will move! Like if you lean very forward you will move forward quickly; and vice versa!

But I damn lousy, kinda panicked once and the robot was moving back and forth SO SCARY I THOUGHT I WOULD FALL. Thankfully I didn't lift my feet up so I was safe! Guess anything with wheels are not meant for me to try :S There's a hand on the photo cause I couldn't get my resting position where the robot wouldn't move, so the guide had to hold on to it!

Watched the closing "concert" for the day and thank you Lynn for accompanying me the whole day!! Wasn't expecting myself to stay till so late but the company was much needed :)

11/06/2015 - Dinner w Rae
Can't wait to meet her later!! She probably wants to hear what's going on with me since she can read my moods best. And I guess I'll really need that listening ear.

Sigh feeling a little feverish; probably because I kinda over-exerted myself the whole day. Fell asleep really early and even took a nap just now when my post was half done; only to wake up feeling really tired for the first time. Like wake up already but want to go back to sleep immediately kind :( I do hope I'm feeling like that for a day only. Cannot afford to be sick :(

---

Date with my dependable LG! Hahaha we met earlier cause her meeting ended earlier :) And she's probably one of those few people whom I can say that "I'm meeting my LG/online couple later!" and get everyone confused cause I don't ask to go out with guys alone; still not used to it and yeah to save any explanations haha.

But yay matchy outfits! White x dark skirt! :)

Japanese pasta as recommended by her! Just nice I was craving for Japanese food so when she says it's either Jap pasta or ramen I'm totally cool with it :D Probably my first and last time eating at this place cause I heard they're closing down quite a umber of outlets. Really liked my pasta though; huge serving and I managed to finish it! Hahaha #foreverhungrydebs, especially when I just woke up.

Date with normal food! Totally got laughed at when I said it literally!! But hey! My definition of normal food - not ice cream waffles or cafe for a full meal! :P

Yay good food and had a good time talking and sharing my Korea trip photos cause I guess I wasn't really ready to talk about anything else except our travel stories! Her couple trip that was joined by another friend and my group travel to Korea. Guess after listening to her I think my trip really went well - we didn't encounter a lot of problems and I guess I felt pretty comfortable throughout; and that was what that mattered most. Like so far all my trips outside Singapore are mainly in groups; hardly just alone with another person.... So I'm actually quite excited for my upcoming trip! :) I hardly request to hang out with one other person unless I'm close to him/her such that we are comfortable with the silence sometimes haha. But I do know the downsides of travelling in groups, glad I didn't have serious problems even for my Taiwan Exchange.

And this time around it was her treat again. Felt so bad sigh; shouldn't have told her about my results then she wouldn't have the chance to pick the tab!!!! :(

Headed to Tom's Palette after that!! :) Made it there without using Maps cause it brought us to some weird place then we suspect it got lost as well so... we rather trust our own directions! Even I know it's near Suntec okay *grins*

Hehehe I got to treat her ice cream at least! :) Granny's Favourite x Salted Caramel Cheesecake for me yayyyy :D Yuzu was nice too!! And I get to hear more stories and shared some too~ Hahaha I guess when people go travelling together things are bound to happen! Or at least from what my friends are saying! Even Rae's story was simply: they went Toronto as friends and came back as a couple... and everything happened in 2 days! Awww :P

But anyway thank you Mr Wong for your words HAHA but we're going to prove you wrong :P Some things just cannot be rushed~ And I didn't know she'd tell her husband everything about me!! hopefully one day we will all be able to meet up together; I want to meet the man who treated my LG so well over the years :)

And there was this awkward moment when the person who served us suddenly asked if I was from Hall 2??? I guess I was just stunned like vegetable so I just said yeah and went to our table LOL. LG was also confused by my reaction until I started wondering how he even recognise me when I got no recollection of seeing him around before. And I only stayed there in my first year so that was sooooo long ago! (In the end he said he recognised me cause we were in the same orientation camp; but he guessed my OG wrongly! But still, I'm quite surprised that people still recognise me when we never talked. But now I know!! If I head over again someday I'll be sure to say hi :))

But yeah, I guess my looks didn't change much ah. Even LG was saying from as long as she remembered I looked pretty much the same and hence recognisable. And she just kept laughing at me when I say stuff; didn't know I make people laugh so easily with my blur actions. Still remembered the one when she asked whether I'm going to ask the guy how he knew about me before we left and I just went... "Oh right I totally forgot I should ask." :S Or when I saw the table that says we can tag #tomspalette or something then I just mentioned casually that I should tag that too.. but I didn't upload any photos with ice cream HAHA.

Good night out still; thanks for trying to keep me sane during this period, and I probably need that all the way till I start work or something :/ Last selfie!! Me and my love to take photos to remember who  I went out with :)

Was talking to Weishan and Chelsea about Chels's dilemma whether to study overseas while otw back! I don't get the chance to experience it so Idk (well exchange is afterall different from going to a foreign country to study for a few years), but I see people going there and enjoying themselves as they interacted with the locals there as well as with people from their own home country! Oror even travelled everywhere around the continent to explore and gain more insights. And eventually seeing people like my cousin or Shubin who loved the country they've stayed in so much that they ever considered getting PR!

So if you think you're up for it, go babe!!! Don't worry about not being not independent enough cause when you travel alone you're be forced to be more independent than before (or at least that kind of happened to me). And you know, we are always a text or skype call away so you won't be alone!! Hahaha yes Debbie never ignores messages one! At the very most you'll get a very delayed response if you accidentally angst me!

Lastly, yes Chels! Weishan and I do read your blog when it was named MFI cause it was easy to remember and I still like to read blogs though lesser people are blogging unless you're those famous bloggers. Now that you changed URL I need to find a way to remember again haha! But I guess they won't get to read this unless I decided that I should tell them the link HAHA.

Sigh still busy transferring photos from my phone to laptop for my Korea trip; Day 3 already!!! Hahah hopefully I get to upload them soon. Trying to delete some redundant photos to save space.
They told me to hold to the faith I had, but it's so difficult to.

Meetups, meetups and more meetups (to come)
Wednesday, 10 June 2015

Woohoo finally done with my Taichung/Kenting travel post; damn tired now from the lack of sleep and naps in the afternoon. I shall attempt one travel post a day; hopefully it works! If not I cannot imagine when will I clear backlog - once I start work I guess it's even harder (unless I've got no peak period.. but still won't have time I think)

Super hungry nowwwww, eating the Paris Baguette Pudding that I bought omw home cause I know I'll need supper. I know my stomach too well :D Hopefully I'll feel sleepy soon enough to fall asleep cause it's a looooong day tomorrow!

Anyway I've finally planed my meetups with people; last chance to meet them before I fly / start work. But I realised it's not possible to meet everyone sigh. See la, too much procrastination over the past week. 7 days lehhh I could have met a few people at least and not rot at home and think about useless stuff.

Rather impromptu dinner date with Kary on Monday! The initial plan was to come up to my place to collect her Laneige products but since I had nothing on that day and she happened to suggest that we can dine out together so I gladly agreed! And thankfully Aunty Mus cooked porridge so I felt a lot less guilty of skipping homecooked food at the last minute :P Idk why but my stomach is so picky that sometimes it just refuses to have porridge though I do love them; my shredded chicken porridge with you tiao yumzzzz :D #cravings

So yeaps budget dinner at Simei, I like (Y) HAHA damn broke, and after doing up my expenses and some additional budgeting I feel even poorer. All those trips. Enjoyed/looking forward to them but my pocket is burnt/will burn tooooo. Hahaha cannot believe that I'll spend roughly the same amount I spent in Korea for my Taiwan trip! And to think I wanted a solo Bintan/Bali trip to chill and take a break. No money no time and I'll probably be panicking thanks to my poor sense of direction.

Eighteen chefs! This time I was smarter to go for Japanese Curry wahahah curry can never go wrong :P Glad to catch up with her after my Korea trip; somehow we will never run out of stuff to talk about - from random to serious stuff, dependable friend yay! But this sick friend ah, intern 6 weeks cough for more than half the time she was there please. So I had 2 scoops of icecream! And I was still not very full so I ordered.... Nuggets and Cheese sausage from OCK omg hi calories D: But this Kary was right lor; her colleague was asking if she was scared that I just came back from Korea but if you look at both of us she looks more like the one with MERS please. Get well soon friend!

Walked back from Simei! And somehow we got on to the topic of going Korea together someday! Just the two of us with her SIA tickets if she gets her PO. I hope she gets it too! I wouldn't mind saving up to travel together :) No need Korea la, anywhere else also can!

Today was mainly spent out - Headed to the temple today! Cause my parents always believe that before and after you travel you have to go 拜拜, so I did that! And also to pray for Bryan's and Rachel's safe trip to Korea :) Did some shopping to kill time while waiting for Bryan. Saw pretty shades but why so exp!! Emo nemo! And got some gifts / stuff for my upcoming trip (since I would be getting the same stuff soon, might as well right) There's GSS now but I can't shop haha sad debs; Kary said I actually bought quite a lot from Korea considering how much time I had to shop and the company I had there. So okay lo, control a bit first!

Had fish soup bee hoon for lunch for the first time! Kinda remembered the place cause we went to get takeaways during lunchtime during my internship before.

Le ex-housemate forgot I don't eat fish; it's a good thing cause it means I have to try! :) Surprisingly it was not bad. Can't tell whether it's fresh not but at least I know my stomach accepted fish... FOR THE FIRST TIME. Like I don't have to drown myself with water and I didn't feel like vomiting or anything. So yay! Just that maybe cause it's an unfamiliar taste so I couldn't finish it. But it's still a good sign that my stomach is starting to accept food that I used to shun :D Please don't remember what I eat and bring me to random places to eat next time!

Went to change money after that, chilled and walked around Raffles - no I was touring Raffles LOL led by tour guide Bryan. I think nobody will believe me if I said I interned at KPMG before lor. Cause I don't seem to know the place well ooops. Even till now I think if you ask me to walk to Golden Shoe alone I will be lost. Kena suanned once when I tried to figure out where it is exactly :S

Headed towards OC to borrow books! Been long since I read, and there's always a reason why I'm reading. Hopefully I'll end up finishing the book because I'm too free instead of the other reason, And got judged again in the library omg I think my image is gone nooooo. I do know my alphabets well leh don't like that! Nonetheless it was good short catchup; it won't be my last lunch with you, we still got many more to go when we start work in July. Thanks for accompanying me around though!
(And I realised I never take much photos on both days, how can I forget sighhh)

Some shopping back at tamp; got a phone cover at lastttttt. Phone you may continue to be clumsy and fall all you want. May the cover protect you. :P

Shall sleep soon; gna send the two of them off to Korea tmr since I stay so near and I can just head out for my carnival after that! Meeting fave LG on Thurs night heeeee :) Happy cause keeping myself so busy will make me less sad when I don't have too much alone time to 胡思亂想! Need to keep my brain occupied~

Anyway thanks Bev and Rae for offering to be my listening ears when I was damn moody. Really helped to calm me a little! :)

Song for the night~ Knew they released a song but didn't hear it till now. Super cute!! :D

If you ask me, I'd say no. For both my selfish reasons and as a rational friend who cares a lot. But I know you well that no matter what ridiculous excuse or explanation I have, it wouldn't change your mind. Cause it doesn't matter to you anyway :( but Idw to end up having to check if you're fine daily; feel so dumb sigh.

And now I need my happy pills to entertain me so that my thoughts won't run wild.

GRADUATE LO!

Finally had some time to blog here! (Actually I do have a lot of time ever since I'm back, but oh well I'm not getting my priorities right.)

Just to know... I just came back from Korea and JB! Hahahah. So technically from 22 May to 1 June I wasn't in Singapore! Unless you want to count that few hours that I'm back home unpacking my luggage and packing for JB stuff :P

Shall find time to blog about my Korea trip! Did the (partial) drafts on Evernote so hopefully I'll ever get the chance to post them within this year HAHA. Had daily short posts on Dayre to help me remember some stuff along the way too :) JB post is up on Dayre as well! (linked it up :D)

Yeaps the very next day after coming back home I've gotten my results. Too lazy to check so I just procrastinated till everyone told me to! But yayyy I managed to 'level up'! Not very very happy though; guess like what I told Bryan it's just about expectations. Like you already kinda expected the grade(s) you'll receive so you wouldn't be too happy/disappointed so long as they are within expectations. So yalor, I'm still feeling a little indifferent. But somehow I feel so much happier to learn that my friends did well!! I guess most of the time I'm congratulating them instead of remembering that I got what I wanted as well hehhhh.

It's very different as compared to when I realised that my CGPA dropped by 0.01 one year back cause it was something not I expected - like Idm anything but that particular GPA you see.

Anyway, congrats (again) to those who got what they expected; if not just be glad we graduated already!! :D And yes I've got crazy friends in their junior years (cause of NS/poly) who did insanely well... I guess some things really don't change afterall huh! Those who fared below expectations jiayou jiayou!!! One/two more years can make a lot of difference :)

Sighhh been pretty moody ; not sure if it's because of the lack of sleep or it's.... just me having horrible thoughts. Sighhhh highly doubt it's lack of sleep though, slept a lot for the past few days though I had one episode of sleep paralysis and hence I can't really sleep early unless I'm super tired (so I sleep a lot in the day! Hahaha screwed sleep cycle)

But I hate having mean/selfish thoughts, like there are just moments when I lose it ooops. Guess when I'm not exactly in a good mood shit happens too. That being said, the good thing is that these thoughts don't linger long so after a while I'm back to worrying than being envious hmmm. And yes rather than wasting time dwelling on this I'd hope that they enjoy themselves :) Like the saying goes, sometimes you just have be selfless and think of what's going to be the best for the ones we love.

Those who are travelling, stay safe please!! Sigh I realise every time I learn of friends travelling out there're natural disasters or illnesses omg feel super uncertain again!! :( I feel blessed that I'm safe and all, but I do want people around me to be, too.

Other than that I hope I'll stop feeling so burdened again!! Guess there're so many things that I want to know but have yet to get an answer from :( It's like sooo obvious that Rae was asking if I'm okay when I didn't even say much!

Favourite quote that I chanced upon today! This was from one of my favourite dramas :)

The reason I like you? Because it’s you. Just you. That’s the only reason. I wish I knew. Then I could figure out how to stop liking you. If I can’t avoid it, I only want one thing. To stay by you as a friend, unchanged. Here’s to heartache. To love. - Reply 1997

And yes I'm not over the "It's Okay That's Love" syndrome!! Fave show for now; so much feels from watching the show and listening to their OSTs.

Shall get back to completing my travel posts sighhhhh no time already!!! If not for my failing memory and that those people are whom I care for I would never ever do up such posts :( Zhen shi de super time consuming, but I know once I hit the last few posts I wouldn't say the same already :/ I do hope doing all of these will give me a sense of accomplishment k!
